This gallery highlights past and legacy masonry projects completed by Cary Masonry across Wilmington and surrounding coastal North Carolina communities. These projects reflect decades of experience in brick, stone, concrete, and structural masonry work, including services and project types that may no longer be offered as a primary focus.

While our current focus is on brick repair, brick repointing, and stone repair, this archive demonstrates the depth of craftsmanship and experience behind our work.

Stone - New Home

This is a Commercial Project. We are adding an addition to a Historic Dentist office in a Village. This was a challenging scaffolding job due to very steep pitches and curving roof lines.
We also had to match the existing building brickwork that was built many years ago.

Job is in the process of final brick work. Setting up the unique peak with scaffolding.

Angle Irons above windows and doors and roof support, Flashing, Specialty Caulking,weeps, wall ties,Vapor barrier and many other products are used on the entire job during the entire process. Its The brick laying is just a part of complex jobs.

Angled brick has to be cut to match roof pitch for each side of all the way up.

Derik is opening an access to the existing Historic building. This is needed to install utilities , insulation and any other necessary products. You can see this was in the early phase of construction.

This is the inside corner of the porch. We used Stone light accessories to complement the wall.

Custom Cultured Stone Veneer-Private Residence-New Home
There are many stages before and after these pics such as preparing walls for wire lath and scratch coating . We will show you the whole process very soon.

This is one of the Cultured Stone Veneer jobs we worked on. We are using Landmark's Allegheny Ledgestone with Stone sills.

BRICK REPLACED BY STONE

This was a brick veneer that cracked and began to fall due to a defective foundation.
I was called to repair this home after someone knocked all the brick down, and the customer wanted cultured stone.
