He had a terrific attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship from the overall design down to matching the color of my mortar. Our front porch was in pretty poor shape, allowing water to leak into our crawl space through cracked bricks and gaping mortar. Carmen came out and gave us a quote very quickly and scheduled repairs for us the following week to get it all repaired. I added a before and after picture to show how everything looks. It looks fantastic, I am very happy with how it turned out!

From start to finish, he was helpful, timely, dedicated to the job, provided a lot of information from his wealth of professional knowledge. His quote for the job was reasonable, and for the quality of the finished repair we are very happy. Carmen just completed repair of our 33-year-old front porch after having storm damage and we couldn't be happier with the results.  Our job was definitely not easy … we have bullnose brick and it was not only very difficult to find, but to match (which did not dissuade Carmen from taking on our job).  Carmen communicated very often throughout the project with what he was doing, the next steps, etc.  He has a very strong worth ethic, is honest and truly wanted to make sure we were happy with the results. CARY MASONRY is a Raleigh NC based masonry and construction company dedicated to the residential and light commercial industry building with brick, stone, concrete, tile, and block.
Our second-generation company was started and successfully built up over 70 years ago by Charles J. Renna.
We are an Italian family and natives to upstate NY and have an outstanding track record there also for Quality Masonry and Quality Custom Home Building . We have built thousands of projects which include complete residential masonry, which includes brick, stone,concrete and block and the building and masonry installations of commercial buildings, and multiple and single-family housing.
Charles was a very focused man and taught every aspect of quality masonry and homebuilding to his son Carmen J. Renna. Charles retired and passed the business to Carmen which now runs the business to continue the legacy.
Carmen has always had a heart for building and has been mastering it for over 42 years and eventually moved to North Carolina where he brought his masonry expertise, many other skills and his successful business down with him to the great state of North Carolina. Cary Masonry is a second-generation company which skillfully uses old-school craftsmanship while keeping current on new improved methods and technology.
