These are some pics of a residential footing using the Form-a-Drain System (tm)
This is a system that replaces the old style drain tile that was twisted and flexible and never has a true water drainage pitch due to the cumbersome designs.
Footing is being set up using Form-A-Drain for the drainage and form system. We start out Lasering the grade and heights then we use use surveyors pins and lines to correctly place the basement location. We then "layout" the entire basement with pins and lines per blueprint specifications. Cleaning the footing trench out squarely and maintaining 8"-12" (depending on specs) is important before any rebar system and Town or State inspection. We then set our Form-a-drain to code and block width specs. Crushed gravel is spread next among the interior and exterior to cover Form-a-drain system . A rebar caging system is installed before the concrete pour and is then placed per specs . Much more detail goes into the process such as Vertical rebar per code , Mirafi® wrap on exterior gravel ,crock installation, and crossover pipes to keep the drainage system working. Block delivery and installation will be installed after footing cured.

We use Concrete conveyors to get to hard to reach areas and have more control over the product.
